Card types
Three ways to get a card in their hand.
Every location keeps a stock of instant issue cards, so a new hire can be paid through Ferry on their first shift. Workers who would rather use their phone get a digital card instead, and anyone who wants their name on the plastic can order a personalized one.
There is no fee to buy a card, activate it, or hold it – no monthly fee and no inactivity fee. The full schedule is in the cardholder agreement.
Instant issue: unpersonalized cards kept on site, linked to a worker's account with the 8-digit ID on the back. Free to replace.
Digital: a card number, expiry, and CVV in the Ferry app straight away, ready for Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Personalized: free to order after about a month, arrives in 7 to 10 business days, and the current card keeps working until it does.
